Mark Description

Nothing beats a good burger at a weekend cookout. This is the Perfect Burger recipe for any occasion!

Start off with ground chuck 80/20. Season the meat with:
– Pepper
– Onion Powder
– Garlic Pepper
– Paprika
– Cumin
– Cayenne Pepper (if you like heat)

Form your patties and make them about one inch thick. Put them in the fridge for a few hours or overnight to allow the meat to absorb the seasonings. Add salt right before you put them on the grill (I once heard that adding too soon will dry out the burgers).

Set your grill up for direct heat. Grill the patties with high heat for about three minutes on each side. Try to only flip once. Before you take them off the grill, melt a slice of pepper jack cheese over the patties.

Spread butter on the inside of sesame seed buns and sprinkle with garlic powder. Toast the buns on the grill.

Spread your favorite condiments on the bun, add the patty and top with fresh sliced tomato and onions!
