If you like the traditional Chicken Cordon Bleu, you're going to love the Beer Can version!
In a bowl, season some ground chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, a little paprika, and your favorite hot sauce. Add enough bread crumbs to hold the chicken together and mix it all up with your hands.
Start out with a baseball size ball of seasoned ground chicken. Use a beer can (or something smaller like a hot sauce bottle) to make a cavity in the middle of the ground chicken.
Put a slice of Swiss cheese in the hole. Cut a piece of ham to fit in the hole and put it on top of the cheese (use a 1/2 inch thick ham steak).
Sprinkle panko bread crumbs on the outside of the chicken. You'll have to use your hands to lightly press the crumbs into the meat so they'll stay.
Set your grill up for indirect grilling. Grill indirectly at 375-400 for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperspire of 160. Before taking them off the grill, melt a slice of Swiss cheese on top.
